I have a lot of stuff in my handbag. I mean, a lot of stuff. Some of the many items stuffed into my big bag include: lipsticks in varying shades of red, two heavy books, a pair of trainers and a lunchbox. I also carry around seasonal essentials including tissues, Lockets and an umbrella. While having a well-packed handbag is handy should I fancy a run in the rain when I have a cold, it’s not so great for my long-suffering right shoulder (or my posture for that matter). So as well as leaving some stuff at home, I have decided that the sensible option is to buy a backpack. And if Burberry’s Prorsum Spring/Summer 2016 collection is anything to go by, the humble rucksack is definitely here to stay. I just need a silk dress and a trench coat and I’m ready to go…
